Nellie Briles Johnson Dies in Trinity
Nellie Briles Johnson, 81, of Trinity, died on November 28, 2014 at
her residence. Funeral
service will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Cumby
Family Funeral Service in Archdale with Chaplain Craig Walker
officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from
6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Cumby’s in Archdale. Burial will be at Floral
Garden Memorial Park. Born in Guilford County on November 19, 1933 to
the late Thomas and Lela Wall Briles. Preceded in death
by her husband, Roy Johnson; her sister, Mary Lou Ingram; and her son in
law, Tim Bentley. Surviving
are children, Tommy Adams and wife Anita of Kernersville, Robin Bentley
of Archdale, Kandy Foley and husband Terry of Archdale, and Benita
Johnson of Trinity; 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

Wanda Margaret Piehler Briles passed away November 24, 2014 in Loveland, Colorado. A viewing will
be held on Monday, December 1, 2014 from 2-4 p.m. at Kibbey-Fishburn
Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 2,
2014 at 10 a.m. at the Loveland Church of the Nazarene with graveside
services following at Loveland Burial Park. Born December 27, 1923 in
Liberal, Kansas, the daughter of the late Walter and Pearl Piehler. Preceded in death by her husband Clellie Claude Briles in 1993. Claude and Wanda were married November 18, 1942 in Lawton,
Oklahoma. Surviving are: her son Claude Dale Briles of
Golden, her son Clyde Noah Briles and his wife Diane of Loveland, and
her daughter Judith Faye Swens and her husband John of Loveland. She
also blessed several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great
grandchildren.

A memorial service will be conducted at 6:30 pm on Saturday, November, 22, 2014, in the Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jon Shook officiating. The family will receive friends at Ridge Funeral Home from 5:00 until 6:30 pm on Saturday, November 22, 2014. Native of Davidson County, NC. Survived by daughter, Lisa Carter, of Asheboro, son, Shane Kindley and wife, Melissa, of Randleman, mother, Dorothy Kindley, of Lexington, sisters, Donna McDonald, Barbara Riffe, Brenda Jarrell, Irene Land, Elizabeth Lilly, Sylvia York, brothers, Albert Kindley, Jr., James Kindley, grandchildren, Madison Carter and Emma Kindley.

2014 in Arizona. Born in Los Angeles , California March 17,
1949 to the late Ernest Michael Briles Jr and Mary Kester Briles who
survives. Mr. Briles is also survived by siblings Debra and Ronnie
Briles and his wife Barbara. Mr. Briles was cremated. Adair Funeral
Home in Tuscon, AZ handled the arrangements.
