Stacey Lynn (Sprunk) Briles, age 54 of Monroe, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Pella Regional Health Center. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 11:00 am at Grace Alive Church in Prairie City. Burial will follow at Silent City Cemetery in Monroe. The family will greet friends on Friday, October 28, 2022, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Grace Alive Church in Prairie City..
The daughter of the late James A. and Betty A. (Stachura) Sprunk, Stacey was born on December 1, 1967, in Columbus, Nebraska.
Those left to honor her memory include her devoted husband, Brian; her two beautiful children, Brooke Meredith and Brody Dean; as well as her favorite office assistant, Bandit Theodore; her mother, Betty Sprunk; mother and father-in-law, Sharon and Jerry Briles; siblings Tod and Lenette Sprunk and Darci Reinke all of Columbus, Nebraska; Kurt and Alicia Briles of Monroe. Stacey adored her nieces and nephews, Dillon and Jacob (Brooklyn) Sprunk, Alli and Brandon Reinke and Joslin and Kinsley Briles as well as her many aunts, uncles and cousins of whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her father Jim Sprunk.

ARCHDALE - Mr. Scotty Craig Pierce, Sr., 51, resident of Archdale, died as a result of a violent crime on October 11, 2022 at his home.
Scotty was born December 27, 1970, at High Point Hospital, a son to the late Carl Van Pierce Sr. and Bonnie Hunt Pierce Keck. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bonnie Keck; father, Carl Pierce; and stepfather, Danny Keck.
Surviving is his daughter, Hayley Allison Pierce of Raleigh; son, Scotty Craig Pierce Jr. of Raleigh; sister, Terri Pierce of Trinity; and brother, Van Pierce (Paige) of Trinity.

Therian Ray Brookshire, 87, of High Point, passed away Sunday, October 9, 2022, at Westchester Manor.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 12, 2022, in the chapel of Wright Funerals-Cremations, High Point, with Rev. Crawford Crenshaw officiating. Burial will follow at Floral Garden Park. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Wallace Brookshire; sons, Billy Brookshire and Terry Brookshire and two grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM prior to the service.
Born Veterans Day, November 11, 1934, in Guilford County, he was a son of the late Clifford Brookshire and the late Leona Pierce Brookshire.

James was born on September 25, 1956 in Randolph County to the late Brady Martin Key and Margaret Briles Key. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by his sister, Debbie Cox.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Key of the home; daughter, Jamie Callicutt (Darryl) of Franklinville; sons, Kevin Key of Asheboro, Mitchell Key (Cheryl) of Trinity; sister, Virginia Foust; brothers, Phillip Key, Roger Key; grandchildren, Riley Key, Gavin Key, Brody Key, Summer Callicutt, Chloe Callicutt; and close family friend, Ramon Torres.

Douglas Clifford “Doug” Briles, age 51 of Woodridge, passed away on September 22, 2022.
A visitation will be held at St. Scholastica Parish, 7800 Janes Ave. in Woodridge on Friday, October 7, beginning at 9:30am with a funeral mass at 10am. Private family internment will be at a later date.
Mr. Briles is the son of Clifford and the late Florence Ruchalski Briles.

Andrea Kay Briles Willis, age 72 of Asheboro passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at Moses Cone Hospital.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 1:00-1:45 pm at Sunset Avenue Church of God, 900 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. Funeral services will follow on Thursday at 2:00 pm at Sunset Avenue Church of God with Pastor Boyd Byerly officiating. Burial will be held in Oaklawn Cemetery.
Mrs. Willis was born in Randolph County on December 8, 1949 to Joseph and Mozelle Lucas Briles. In addition to her parents, Andrea was preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Rich" Willis.
She is survived by her brother, Don Briles (Cathy) of Trinity; step children, Melissa Willis of Greensboro, Jessie Willis of Mooresville, Tim Willis (Lisa) of High Point, and Amanda Willis (Adam Fongemin) of Greensboro; 3 step grandchildren; and many loving cousins and close friends.

Kenneth Wayne "Trigger" Briles, 76, passed away September 22, 2022 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, NC.
Mr. Briles is predeceased by his parents Benjamin & Lucille Briles Yarberry. He is survived by his wife Phyllis “Shug” Briles, his sons Ken Briles Jr. (Christina) and Ryan Moore (Kristine), and the sparkles of his eyes, grandchildren Hannah Briles and Case Moore.
His life will be celebrated on Sunday, October 9 at New Life Family Fellowship at 2PM, located at 1354 E. Allred St, Asheboro, NC 27203. His family will welcome friends with refreshments in the fellowship hall following the service. The family will have a private interment at Salisbury National Cemetery on Monday, Oct 10, 2022 with full military honors (US Air Force).

He was born in Davidson County, NC, on February 13, 1945, to Fred Reece Hepler and Ellen Skeen Hepler. His parents preceded him in death.
Wayne is survived by his significant other, Linda Ramsey; his three children, Ken Hepler and wife Rene, Angela Jarrett and husband Joel, Melissa Brady and husband Cameron; eight grandchildren, Brooke, Brad, Ryan, Josh, Justin, Eric, Austin and Lexie; and five great grandchildren.

Bob was born February 14, 1937 to the late Robert Wade Ridge and Vivian Kiger Ridge in High Point. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Gaddy, Bettie Robertson; a brother, Kenneth Ridge.
