Kerry Bryant Pierce, 60, of Liberty passed Tuesday, March 17, 2015 A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2014 at 11:00 am at Bethany Baptist Church, 7232 Shiloh Road in Liberty. Born September 2, 1954 son of the late Clyde Aaron and Edith Clapp Pierce and was also preceded in death by his brothers, Gray and Howard Pierce. Survived by his wife of 31 years, Nancy Aydelette Pierce; sons, Ethan Tyler and Derek Matthew Pierce; sister, Linda Pierce Jackson (Ronnie); brothers, Gene Pierce (Elizabeth), Richard, Phil and Bobby Pierce.

Lois Marie Robbins Sink

Lois Marie Robbins Sink, 73, of Finch Farm Rd. Trinity went home to be with her Lord and Savior Friday, March 13, 2015 at Duke University Medical Center. Funeral services for Mrs. Sink will be held 2 p.m. Monday, March 16, 2015 at Fairview United Methodist Church 6073 Fairview Church Rd. Trinity with the Rev. Nancy Krall and Rev. Harold Shives officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Born February 26, 1942 in Randolph County, a daughter of the late Charlie Warren Robbins and Ruby Colene Keeling Robbins.Surviving her husband of 53 years, W. G. Sink of the home; one daughter, Wendy Green and husband Shawn of Trinity; two sons, Jason Sink and wife Shelly and Dusty Sink and wife Christy both of Trinity. Five grandchildren, Lacey Green, Logan Sink, Austin Sink, Haley Sink and Jill Sink all of Trinity and one brother, Jimmy Robbins and wife Mary of Trinity.

Brett Anthony Robbins Dies

Brett Anthony Robbins, 52 a resident of Davidson County, passed away on Thursday, March 05, 2015 at Hinkle Hospice House. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 8, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Hopewell United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ken Spencer officiating. Interment will follow in the Church cemetery.Born October 20, 1962 in Guilford County to Joseph Kermit Robbins and Myra Hodges Robbins. Preceded in death by his wife Tonya Sullivan Robbins on October 20, 2013. He is survived by his parents; Joseph and Myra Robbins of Trinity, a son; Matthew Robbins of Trinity, a daughter; Kasie Robbins of Trinity, step-son; Zachery Haney and wife Laura of Lexington, step-daughter; Lauren Haney Moir and husband Anthony of Statesville, and a sister; Tonya Newton and husband Kenneth of Asheboro. He also leaves behind three special nieces.

James Milton Small, Lineage to Mary Briles Rush

Mr. James Milton Small, 81, of Archdale, died Saturday, February 28, 2015 at his residence. Funeral will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in Archdale officiated by Rev. Ronnie Brown and Rev. Tim Steen. Interment will follow in Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday night from 6 until 8 at the funeral home.Born July 29, 1933 in Randolph County, he was the son of the late George Milton and Lola Pearl Staley Small. Veteran of the US Army. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, James Gregory Small, a sister, Frances Small, and a son-in-law, Rick Holt. On August 7, 1953, he married the former Faie Morton, who survives of the home. Also surviving are two children, Yolanda Holt, of Thomasville, and Mark Small, of Archdale; two granddaughters, Brittany Gobble and husband, Matt, of Oakwood, GA, and Courtney Cardwell, and husband, Brent, of Thomasville; one great granddaughter, Ricci Faith Gobble; and a sister, Margie Brown, of High Point.
