The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Born November 21, 1925 in Davidson County, N.C., a daughter of Cleveland Cletus Hill and Elizabeth Brinkley Hill. In 1946 she was married to Joe H. Yokeley, who died April 2, 1979. In 1986 she married James G. Norton, who died November 1, 1997. In addition to her parents and husbands, she was also preceded in death by sisters, Rebecca (Becky) Leonard and Joan Hester. Surviving are sons, Steve Yokeley and wife Martha and Chris Yokeley and wife Suzan, both of Thomasville; grandchildren, Scott Yokeley and wife Kelle, Eric Yokeley and wife Jessica, Jonathan Yokeley and wife Heather and Erin Yokeley; six great-grandchildren; Step-daughters, Jean DeLaSerna of Pennsylvania and Carolyn Saylor and husband Cliff of Virginia; step-sons, James Norton and wife Betsy of Tennessee, David Norton and wife Diane of Georgia, and Doug Norton and wife Sally of Charlotte; sixteen step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren.
